Keresa Richardson.
Putting Austin politicians & lobbyist ahead of what’s best for our families.
- In the 2023 legislative session, Keresa Richardson co-sponsored key legislation that will de-fund our local public schools. (SB2) McKinney ISD already has a projected $23M budget deficit and will close three elementary schools at the end of the 2025–2026 school year due to declining enrollment and budget constraints.
- Keresa Richardson also co-sponsored legislation limiting law enforcement’s use of red flag laws, hindering their ability to protect communities from violence like mass shootings, domestic abuse and suicides. (SB 1362)
- And, against the pleas of law enforcement leaders and child advocates, Keresa Richardson authored a bill exposing children’s advocacy centers to additional risks, and endangering children and families who are already in crisis. (HB 5136)
- Our public schools and safe communities are vital for our McKinney quality of life – don’t we deserve a state representative who supports our community instead of pandering to Austin politicians?
